Snapchat, the image and messaging mobile application, continues to grow and more runners are making it a habit to post daily updates on the app. Users take photos and post them to their story for followers to see, or send photos to specific recipients.

There are number of high-profile athletes who use the app regularly and give followers a glimpse of their lives that people might otherwise miss. The mobile application, available on iOS and Android, launched in 2011 and has grown to more than 10 billion views per day on the stories feature.

Content sent to specific recipients disappear after a given amount of time while photos and videos posted to someone’s story (viewable to all of one’s followers) can be viewed over and over for a 24-hour period before vanishing. Here’s a roundup of some must-follows (in no particular order) on the mobile application.
