Family Traits

In Photo: my sneakers on the left and my cousin Jill’s sneakers on the right

As follow-up to my bizarre sneaker issue reported last month. It turns out my cousin Jill has the same issue (she submitted a photo as proof).

Gotta love all the wonderful genetic traits pass down through my family tree… heart disease, diabetes, obesity, freckles and now big ankle bones? Seriously? I’m starting to think our gene pool is getting a little weak!

Thanks Jill for sharing your embarrassing secret about protruding ankle bones… I feel much better knowing that I’m not a complete freak… that it’s a family thang’! I guess it could be worse… we could have fat ankles!

I guess both Jill and I need to pay a visit to the Running Room and get properly fitted for our sneakers!

Michelle Kempton used to be overweight, but now she's not. Exercising is her life, running her her passion, eating healthy is what she does (but not all the time)! She lives in Cow Bay, Nova Scotia (which is about 20K from downtown Halifax - or a couple hour run - there's a lot of hills).
