U.S. marathon roundup and a Canadian preview

It was a busy Sunday for marathons in the U.S. this past weekend with the California International Marathon, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and the Santa Barbara Marathon taking over the roads in California and Nevada. Many Canadians made the trek Stateside, especially to Vegas, where the race is under new management as part of the Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon series by the Competitor Group’s Elite Racing out of San Diego, California. This weekend, a contingent of Canadians will also head south to the Honolulu Marathon,while others are taking part in the 20^th anniversary of the Not the Honolulu Marathon (as mentioned in ‘On the Run In… Fredericton’ in the January issue of Canadian Running) in Fredericton, N.B.
