Keflezighi scraps NYC Half due to sore knee

American Meb Keflezighi has pulled out of the NYC Half-Marathon after missing some training time because of a knee injury. He is still planning to race the Boston Marathon on April 19. The field in the March 21 race in New York City still includes marathon world record holder Haile Gebrselassie and two-time NYC Marathon winner Marilson Gomes dos Santos of Brazil.
