Devon Kershaw unleashed one of the greatest performances in the history of Canadian cross-country skiing with his fifth-place finish in the 50K event  at the Vancouver Olympics.

On his blog, he pays homage to great Canadian runners, such as Kevin Sullivan, Leah Pells, and Gary Reed, who have inspired him along the way.

It’s worth noting that the product of Sudbury, Ont., has also been a strong track runner, over distances of 3000m and 5000m.
