Guelph Mid-Distance Inferno June 5th 7pm

June 3, 2010
By Reid Coolsaet

The last stop of the 401 Distance Series is happening this Saturday (June 5th) at St. James High School in Guelph.  The night will start off at 7pm with 600m races and then a Women’s 1500m and Men’s Mile.  The fields look strong in all the events and you can bet the guys will be aiming to crack 4 minutes in the mile.  Taylor Milne has run 3:38 for 1500m and 1:48 for 800m in the past week which will set him up nicely for the chance to run the first sub-4 minute mile in Wellington County.  It’s not often we get to see high quality races in our backyard so come out Saturday evening to take advantage of a great event.  There will also be an informal gathering later in the evening to cap off the series.
