Kiplagat sparkles at Diamond League meet in Monaco

The men’s 1500 at the Diamond League event in Monaco on Thursday provided some fireworks with Silas Kiplagat of Kenya winning in a world-leading time of 3:29.27, followed closely by Amine Laadou of Morocco in 3:29.53 and Augustine Kiprono Choge of Kenya in 3:30.22. American Andrew Wheating finished fourth in 3:30.90, nearly a seven-second PB, and 20-year-old Australian Ryan Gregson set a huge PB with a 3:31.06 for fifth place.
