Kiplagat sparkles at Diamond League meet in Monaco
July 22, 2010The men’s 1500 at the Diamond League event in Monaco on Thursday provided some fireworks with Silas Kiplagat of Kenya winning in a world-leading time of 3:29.27, followed closely by Amine Laadou of Morocco in 3:29.53 and Augustine Kiprono Choge of Kenya in 3:30.22. American Andrew Wheating finished fourth in 3:30.90, nearly a seven-second PB, and 20-year-old Australian Ryan Gregson set a huge PB with a 3:31.06 for fifth place.
