The New Balance 880 is a sharp-looking shoe in its women's design with a brilliant bronze, grey and green colour scheme. It's a lightweight neutral trainer - an update to the 759 - with more mesh for enhanced breathability and increased cushioning for a plush ride. The upper and cushioning - a mix of gel and foam - are also more durable in the upper and cushioning than its predecessor and should be able to handle more mileage. The forefoot has a blown rubber outsole for a lighter feel, but the Ndurance outsole heel crash pod is more durable to endure heavy pounding on the pavement. Like most New Balance shoes, it's available in multiple widths (women's 2A to D, men's D to 4E).
