With the help of American actress Gabrielle Union, who has more than 3.4 million followers on Twitter, 2017 IAAF World Championships women’s 400m hurdles champion Kori Carter is getting worldwide attention.
The American, before going on to win the world title out of lane nine in the 400m hurdles, broke into a very brief smile and wave to the crowd during her pre-race introduction. Almost immediately, the 25-year-old’s split on-camera personality reverted back to a serious look. She ran 53.07 for the win on Thursday.
