On the market for a fun destination goal race? Runners in Canada are spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing a picturesque course to run. As such, it can be hard to narrow down the options. Dearest runners, don’t sweat it (you can save the sweating for race day) because we’re going to let you in a little tip. One precious Nova Scotia race is offering not only a chance to run along gorgeous shore-line terrain, but the race director is also making it rain with dollar bills at the finish line.

If your wallet has been on a strict diet lately, fatten it up by landing a top spot or breaking a course record at Maritime Race Weekend this year. Michelle Kempton, leading pirate of the Nova Scotia pirate crew, is reaching into the treasure chest this year to reward nifty pirates– particularly those who can bang out a fast marathon.
