Boston Marathon registration re-opens until sell-out

The legendary race has not yet sold out and will continue accepting entrants who have qualified.

Registration for the 2013 Boston Registration has entered it’s third week, after the initial period of advanced windows for faster qualifying times came and went without the race hitting it’s maximum capacity.

The Boston Athletic Association, which organizes the marathon, went to a multi-tiered registration process two years ago after the event sold out in mere hours for the 2011 race.

The new system seems to have worked, eliminating the online chaos that froze the registration site and left many unhappy and on the outside looking in back in the fall of 2010.

Registration is now open for anyone who has run an age/gender based qualifying time at a Boston qualifier certified course on or after Sept. 24, 2011.

You can register online at the Boston Marathon website.
