On January 1st I’m going back to Kenya and then directly to Luxembourg for a XC race on Feb 12. Thankfully I am a recipient of the Can Fund which will help offset the costs (flights, accommodation, physical therapy) associated with such a trip.

In the days leading up to the race weather forecasts were calling for winds around 40 km/h. In those kind of conditions it would make sense to go with a pack of runners to block the wind instead of just one pacemaker.

2 weeks to go until STWM. This was my last week over 200km. Today was my last long-run, 30km. Yesterday was my last banger of a workout, 5 X mile.
