Maritime Race Weekend perks for 2017
We've come up with something extra-special for our marathoners who cross the finish line!
In addition to having gorgeous scenery along the route, Maritime Race Weekend’s marathon is a Boston Qualifier. The deadline to submit qualifying times for Boston is the Monday after our race, which makes us one of the last chances to qualify in Canada.

We predict 6,000 runners will cross the finish-line during Maritime Race Weekend in September. From that group, about 100 will complete the marathon distance. East Coast events typically have small marathon numbers, allowing me to spoil this group with perks that aren’t possible with a larger crowd.
This year, we are introducing exclusive swag for marathon finishers, but there’s a catch – this swag won’t be their race-kits. Similar to the finisher medals, marathoners will need to cross the finish-line within the six hour time-limit to earn this reward. Marathon finishers will be given a fantastic long sleeve ¼ zip technical shirt and plush blanket to celebrate and remind them of the amazing accomplishment they achieved.
