Scenes from the 2015 Boston Marathon
Couldn’t be on the streets of Boston today? It was a chilly and wet one for marathoners this year but nevertheless, runners and spectators brought the spirit to the streets of Boston for Marathon Monday.
The women’s race was won by Caroline Rotich who finished with a strong sprint ahead of Ethiopia’s Mare Dibaba. Roitch won in a time of 2:24:55. The men’s champion was Lelisa Desisa. He had a strong lead today and ran a 2:09:17. Desisa is also the 2013 champion.
