Best tweets by Rob Krar’s beard

That’s right, Rob Krar’s beard has its own twitter account, quite separate from Rob Krar’s own account. And Rob isn’t the person behind his beard’s social media savvy.

The fundamental rule of running is that hard work and limit pushing needs to be balanced with appropriate rest and recovery. We support @RobKrarsbeard’s rest day consideration.

Race mantras are a great way to stay on focus and determined throughout hard sections. While we tend to suggest things like “This is what I’ve worked for” or “I can do this,” if beard bushiness is one of your goals, feel free to work that in.

Pre-race nightmares can be a thing. Rob’s beard calls to Rob for comfort and reassurance, but we’d recommend calling up a running buddy if you have pre-race fears.

We have to disagree with @RobKrarsbeard on this one. Katy Perry makes the Ks fly by.

In the world of trail running, a full beard may give that extra boost of confidence pre-race. Mountains have long respected beards.

@RobKrarsbeard tweets his own unique perspective while Rob is racing, making for some of the most entertaining live tweeting we’ve seen.

Swap in the word training and this applies more broadly…

Rob Krar is sponsored by The North Face. But that got us joking about what if all running gear brands incorporated beards into their names. Beardidas? Beardcouny? New Beardance?

We knew Rob Krar must have a secret weapon for extra technical sections. This explains a lot.

Not your typical mid run fuel, but then again, Rob Krar’s not your typical runner.

This was @RobKrarsbeard’s post Western States 100 victory tweet.
