1) Runner-specific wine glasses

Who doesn’t like to indulge in a hard-earned drink after a race? These running-themed wine glasses only add to the post-race celebration atmosphere.

2) Running ornament

There are those runners who go all-out on their running-themed Christmas decorations (even hanging spikes on the tree), but if you want just a token of your sport, this “May all your miles be merry” ornament we found on Etsy is a good option.

3) Fun t-shirt

If you’re buying for a runner with a sense of humour, running shirts like these might also do the trick.

4) Running-themed jewellery

There is an abundance of running themed jewellery out there. Necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings–you name it. Check out our gallery for inspiration.

5) Buffbuff

Buff’s are one of those handy, do-it-all items of clothing that should be a part of every runner’s winter arsenal. Whether you’re feeling like wearing a hat, headband, neck warmer or face warmer, the buff does it all. Plus, they’re durable and can be thrown in the wash– key traits for any piece of running gear.

6) Hand-held roller

A handheld roller is an excellent way to keep muscles loose and packs much more easily than a regular foam roller, so it is useful for the runner who travels. Hand held rollers are available at most running stores, as well as sites like Amazon.ca. Or, check out these self-care items from Trigger Point.

These are perfect for extra race day spirit. Or perhaps maybe tricking the family into thinking you got a real tattoo after having a little too much fun on New Year’s.

8) Coffee mug

If there is one thing that runners love, it’s coffee.

9) The Illegal

Buying for a runner that loves to read? Look no further than award-winning author, Lawrence Hill’s latest offering.

10) Pre-race checklistchecklist

Do you know a runner that has shown up to a race without (*gasp*), their shoes?! Keep nerves in check and make sure they show up with everything they need thanks to this handy pre-race checklist.
