Sneak peek: Saucony Hurricane ISO 2

Saucony 2

Hitting shelves at the beginning of 2016, the Saucony Hurricane ISO 2 packs fit, cushioning and support into a single shoe, designed for runners with moderate to severe overpronation.

Men’s: 306 g (10.8 oz.), Women’s: 266 g (9.4 oz.)
Release Date: Jan. 1, 2016
Drop: 8 mm

The Hurricane ISO 2 features an 8 mm offset, with a 30 mm heel stack transitioning to a 22 mm forefoot stack along with Everun technology, a livelier and more durable type of cushioning. The shoe is designed for road and track use and offers more cushioning than other Saucony models.

The shoe includes an updated version of Saucony’s “ISOFIT” technology, an ultra-soft inner sleeve that keeps the foot firmly in place. The ISOFIT wrapping is integrated with the shoelaces, which results in a snug, sock-like fit.

The technology also acts as an additional layer to the shoe’s outer, which may come in handy this winter in fighting the cold, snow, or rain.

Isofit
The shoe’s previous version, the Saucony ISO Hurricane, won a number of awards and so far, we’re liking what we we’ve experienced with the tester pairs we have in the office. We’ll have a complete review when the Hurricane ISO 2 hits stores in January.
