The revival of mid-length running socks, now with graphics

Cyclists have long been known to wear mid-length socks on training rides and during races. Runners, not so much.

A recent trend, lead most notably by Stance Socks and Happy Socks, seems to be graphic, mid-length socks made for athletics and running. Stance, a Stockholm-based company popular for its partnership with the National Basketball Association, and Happy Socks, are at the forefront of this charge.

Brooks Running has also dabbled in designing socks, highlighted by colourways to celebrate holidays throughout the year– yes they have socks for Halloween and Christmas.
