Two of the running world’s most popular brands are coming together for a collaboration to be released early next year.
Women’s apparel brand Oiselle and Hoka One One, notable for their footwear, have announced a shoe collaboration expected to be released in spring 2017. Oiselle will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2017 as the women’s brand has become a big player in the running market.
“Friends fly together. Coming Spring 2017. #OiselleXHOKA,” the women’s brand, based in Seattle, wrote on Instagram.
Hoka One One, which is known for its cushioned running shoes, also makes apparel and has recently entered the elite track and field market. Hoka sponsors 2012 Olympic silver medallist Leo Manzano and the Northern Arizona Elite group among others. The brand was founded in 2010.
The collaboration will be based on the popular Hoka One One Clayton. The cushioned shoe, currently available in its original edition, is versatile enough for trail but still plenty fast for the roads. According to Oiselle, there will be two colourways in the spring 2017 shoe.

Canadian athletes sponsored by Oiselle include Pan Am Games bronze medallist Sasha Gollish and Pan Am Games marathoner Catherine Watkins.
