Event: 10,000m, Canadian record holder (31:41)

Who is your favourite current Canadian Olympian?
Melissa Bishop! She’s amazingly fast, beautiful and sweet. Watching her get silver at last year’s world champs was so inspiring!

Who is your all-time favourite Canadian Olympian?
Emilie Mondor. She was the first Canadian woman to ever run under 15 minutes in the 5,000m. She set a new bar for Canadian distance women.

Is your family travelling to watch you?
Yes, my parents will be there. They’re doing a home exchange.

What non-Olympic thing will you be sure to do while visiting Brazil?
I want to ride scooters around the city!
