2015 Boston Marathon jacket revealed

Gone is last year’s shockingly bright orange Solar Jacket. This year’s Boston Marathon jacket, a deep violet and orange-trimmed windbreaker called Night Flash is in.

Adidas hasn’t officially shared the jacket with the press yet. It will become available to runners in the coming weeks, selling for US $110. Other apparel from the collection is already online. Not every piece shares the jacket’s purple and orange colour scheme; many are just the solid violet.

Last year’s Solar Jacket came with mixed reactions from the running community. Some liked its bold statement, while others felt it was gaudy and over-the-top.
