Adidas celebrates Pride Month with shoe collection

Adidas has released a four-shoe collection for pride month

Adidas has released a beautiful four-shoe collection for Pride Month. The collection has been named the Pride Pack, and was designed to celebrate individuality and equality. Last summer, four Adidas sneakers got a multicoloured makeover, complete with polka dot decoration. For 2018, the company has taken a more subtle approach, mixing bright colours with pastel tones.

The Pride Pack includes the PureBoost DPR, the i-5932, the Campus, and the Deerupt. All shoes are available through adidas.ca along with select retailers.

The i-5923 is a modern version of a retro shoe. The shoe has an Adidas boost midsole, a nylon upper with suede overlays, and a label inside the tongue that reads, “better together.” The extremely stylish shoe retails for $170.

The Deerupt has an EVA midsole, and is very light weight. With bright colours enveloped by a white mesh overlay, and an OrthoLite sockliner, the Deerupt is equal parts comfortable, stylish and functional. The Deerupt retails for $150.

The style of the Campus takes its cues from the 80’s. The low-profile shoe also has the “better together” label inside the tongue, and retails for $120.

The PureBoost DPR is an all-white shoe with a bright but subtle Adidas three-stripe detail. With a responsive boost foam midsole and an 8mm drop, the PureBoost DPR is a great city running shoe. The low-to-the-ground feel is ideal for a minimalist runner. The shoe retails for $220.
