The rarely-seen racing flat used in the Nike Breaking2 attempt in May is going for upwards of US$1,799 on eBay as it’s not widely available to the public. On StockX, the last pair, as of Dec. 18, to be sold went for US$1,000.

One of the most-talked about running products of the year was the Nike Zoom Vaporfly 4%, which claims, backed by a University of Colorado study, to improve running economy by four per cent.
