This road race shirt is one of the best in the game

The New Balance Chilly Half-Marathon annually offers one of the best technical tops of any race in the country.

This past Sunday’s race, a double out-and-back in and around Burlington, Ont. offered an all-black top with white trim and silver print making it one of the few subtle shirts out there.

The first 3,000 registrants – the event sold out – for the New Balance Chilly Half-Marathon received the quarter-zip technical top. This year’s high-collared edition features a thumb hole at the end of the sleeves, fleece inner and technical outer fabric in time for the last weeks of winter and into the spring.
