J. Crew and New Balance partner to create men’s clothing line

Months after New Balance and popular clothing brand J. Crew partnered to create a women’s line of athletic wear, the style dream team has come out with gear for men. 

Pictured in the gallery above, the new athletic wear products are in-line with 2017 fashions while also being functionally adequate for runs, races and cross-training workouts.

The line came out on Feb. 1. The women’s version hit the market this fall with pieces featuring lots of navy and punchy tones as well as chic prints– think polka dots and sailor stripes. 

Just like the women’s line, the men’s clothing comes with an aesthetic that is typical of J. Crew’s brand. Men decked out in this apparel will be easy to spot in bold colours and patterns that are not often seen in your standard athletic gear. Looking at the line, we’re seeing olives, neons and green forest tones and interesting colour blocking. (For men who complain that the guy’s section in running stores is too limited with mostly black gear options, the New Balance- J.Crew line could solve this problem.) 

Because the apparel was designed in collaboration with New Balance though, runners can rest assured knowing that it’s not just about looks here– it’s about quality too. Luckily these pieces feature it will be made with New Balance’s technical fabrics.

New women’s styles and colours have also just been introduced which include fun sneakers, crop tops and punchy half-zip shirts.
