Lululemon releases Blissfeel, its first running shoe, designed for women
Speculation about the popular athletic-wear brand entering the shoe space ended in NYC Tuesday with the launch of Lululemon Blissfeel

For years, Lululemon has hinted that it planned to introduce an athletic shoe, but speculation ended Tuesday with the release, on International Women’s Day, of Blissfeel, at a media launch at New York’s trendy Skylight Modern event space. Guests were invited to try the shoe, which was made for women first, and to wear it for a short, Lululemon-ambassador-led run through the streets of Manhattan.

Lululemon Blissfeel was developed after years of research and experimentation with materials, and with women’s foot anatomy and biomechanics top of mind. It’s designed to replicate the feeling of freedom and connection that running brings; it’s a supportive daily trainer with a plush midsole that’s intended to balance cushioning, energy return and performance. (The emphasis is on creating a feeling of lightness and freedom.)
The shoe will be available in 10 colourways.

Three additional styles, dubbed Chargefeel, Strongfeel and Restfeel, will be released in summer 2022.
Lululemon Chargefeel, which will come out in the summer, is designed for cross-training in the gym, and comes in both low-rise and mid-rise options. Lululemon Restfeel is a recovery slide, and Lululemon Strongfeel is a low-profile multisport shoe appropriate for racquet sports, gym training, etc.

Blissfeel will be available online and at select retailers in North America, Mainland China and the U.K. as of March 22. Men’s versions of the shoes will be launched in 2023.
