Nike’s newest lineup of shoes, the 2019 Zoom series, is launching internationally on July 11. The collection is building on what’s worked for years for the company, with a major addition of the NEXT%, the shoe worn by Eliud Kipchoge at the 2019 London Marathon.

The series features the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 36, Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo 2, Nike Zoom Fly 3 and Nike ZoomX Vaporfly NEXT%.

NEXT%

The NEXT% has the ZoomX foam and the carbon-fibre plate of the Vaporfly 4%, but according to a review by Runner’s World, 15 per cent more foam in the midsole, while reducing the Vaporfly’s 11-millimetre drop to eight millimetres. It sports an innovative new upper material the company is calling Vaporweave, which may be even lighter and stronger than the flyknit material of previous models. Nike claims Vaporweave is highly breathable and absorbs almost no moisture. If you want to be notified about the release of the shoe you can input your information here.

Pegasus 36

The Peg might be the longest lasting model of shoe ever. At version 36, this shoe is a staple in Nike’s lineup for good reason. The newest model has been updated with an engineered mesh upper and a new foam in the midsole.

Pegasus Turbo 2

The biggest change on the Peg Turbo, which uses the ZoomX foam, is the sleek upper. The new shoe uses a translucent material and lofted mesh in the upper, replacing the bulkier upper of its predecessor.

Zoom Fly 3

The Zoom Fly 3 is a fast shoe that doesn’t empty your pocket quite as much as the NEXT%. The new shoe features a softer sockliner and a higher arch while maintaining the full-length carbon plate and entirely Nike React foam.
