New Balance tanks: a summer running staple

If you're a summer runner who isn't a fan of going shirtless, consider trying either of these New Balance tanks to keep you covered on your warmest runs.

The New Balance Ice 2.0 and Q Speed Jacquard Tanks are two clothing pieces that every runner should have in their wardrobe. They’re extremely light and fitted, but not skin tight.

These tops were so light, it felt like I was only wearing my sports bra. I wore the shirts for a couple of runs during the Toronto heat wave. Each day was over 30 degrees celsius, and I didn’t ever notice my top clinging to my skin, or increasing my already soaring body temperature.

The Ice 2.0 top retails for $49.99 CAD and is available in Seafoam, Blue Iris, Galaxy and Smoke Blue. Sizes range from extra small to extra large.

The Q Speed Jacquard tank retails for a slightly pricier $54.99 CAD, and is available in black, arctic fox and outer banks. Sizes range from extra small to large as well.

Both tanks have high neck lines and racer backs, which I love. As part of New Balance’s performance tank top line, tanks are highly breathable, sweat-wicking and light. The tops are cut perfectly, not clinging to the skin, but also not baggy in any way.

If you’re a summer runner who isn’t a fan of going shirtless, consider trying either of these New Balance tanks to keep you covered on your warmest runs.
