If you liked the first version of this shoe, we have good news for you! Several subtle, plus one significant improvement has the Freedom ISO 2 even better than the already acclaimed neutral trainer.

The shoe features the generous cushioning and energizing responsiveness of a full-length EVERUN midsole, but is nonetheless relatively lightweight. You’ll also enjoy the enhanced durability of the TRI-FLEX outsole, meaning it can go the distance for several hundred Ks before beginning to break down. Best of all, and new to edition 2 of the Freedom ISO is the superior fit and comfort of ISOKNIT plus ISOFIT, a superior combination of materials and engineering that create ultimate comfort with minimal chafing within the upper. This shoe is as close to wearing a running slipper as you’re going to get. It also means that it will fit a wide range of foot sizes and shapes (from narrow to average to wide). One thing to note is that we felt version one fit small, meaning some had to size up by half a size, whereas version 2 seems to fit true to size.

Plush cushioning, exceptional energy return and ultimate comfort make the shoe ideal for every and any type of run, from easy days, to speed workouts to performing on race day. For those who already love Saucony, this is the perfect hybrid between the durability of the Ride ISO and the speed and responsiveness of the Kinvara 9. There’s truly no run in which you couldn’t consider it as a viable, and excellent, option.

That versatility, combined with its durability–meaning many many kilometers of quality running–and (almost) too-good-to-be-true comfort, mean the Freedom ISO 2 is the perfect shoe to add to your rotation or own as a standalone shoe for all types of training.

As a bonus, its sleek design is both breathable and aesthetically pleasing. It also comes in a number of exciting colours.
