The run-friendly shoe to wear for the times you’re not training
Here's what we're wearing on our feet in the Canadian Running office this week

Taking care of your feet with proper footwear is essential as a runner, both in training itself and even away from running.
One way to check all the boxes with regards to taking care of the feet is by combining both footwear for running and everyday life. A smart options: the Saucony Freedom. There’s the Freedom ISO, which some runners may be familiar with and is the more traditional running version of the shoe, plus the Freedom Runner, which incorporates suede into the mix. Both feature EVERUN midsole which provides neutral and cushioned support. Both the Freedom Runner and ISO also have plush inner cushioning, providing a soft feel when wearing for hours on end.
Especially if you battle constant pains by wearing flat-soled shoes or if you’re trying to get a bit more cushioning because of shin pain, the Saucony Freedom Runner could be a good call considering it can pass as an more casual, everyday version of running footwear.

Below are two versions of the Freedom that we’re currently wearing in the CR office including the green suede Runner, which sets you back $159.99, and the heathered chrome ISO, which retails for $199.99. (Though, to be fair, ours aren’t quite as clean anymore.)
