The 2016 Boston Marathon themed shoes

One of the fun phenomenons of the last few years at major marathons has been limited edition shoes. This year at the Boston Marathon several companies rolled out special kicks just for those in Beantown. The offerings include New Balance’s speedy Zante, Brooks’ super cushiony Adrenaline (featuring a lobster and a whale!), a Skechers Meb-themed racer, Newtons with a take on the iconic “Welcome to Hopkinton” sign, shamrock green Saucony Kinvaras, and, of course, an arsenal of race sponsor Adidas’s Boost shoes.
