Runners bare all at Ontario’s Bare Oaks clothes-free 5K
Where do they pin the race number?
Runners bared all for a clothes-free 5K colour run at a naturist park just north of Toronto.
Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park, located a 45-minute drive north of Toronto near East Gwillimbury, Ont., hosted the Bare Oaks 5K Colour Fun Run on Monday. There were 44 runners who took part in the Bare Oaks 5K, according to Peter Allison, who posted photos from the event.
According to the event website, the “colour aspect of the run is that runners are showered with coloured corn starch at various stages of the course. It is inspired by the Holi Hindu Festival (also known as the festival of colours) where participants douse each other with coloured powder and water.”

It remains unclear where they pinned the race number. Runners did get a free T-shirt for registering ahead of time. Understandably, the shirts were not worn during the 5K itself.
Still to come this summer is the Wreck Beach Bare Buns Run, a 5K in Vancouver, on July 23. The event is celebrating its 21st anniversary in 2017.
