Canadians will see stars like Andre De Grasse and Melissa Bishop compete on home soil on Wednesday evening.

The highly-popular Harry Jerome International Track Classic, named after the Canadian track star and bronze medallist at the 1964 Olympic Games, goes off tonight at Coquitlam’s Percy Perry Stadium in the Metro Vancouver. The race marks the first time that De Grasse will compete in Canada in 2017. (He was expected to do the 200m too but is not currently on the start list.) Bishop raced in Windsor, Ont. in May before heading to Oregon and overseas to Europe for various Diamond League events.

You can access the live stream, free of charge, here. Coverage begins at 8:50 p.m. EDT.

De Grasse, a three-time Olympic medallist, is coming off a scorching 9.69 performance over 100m in Stockholm, Sweden. The 22-year-old will run the 100m (12:02 a.m. EDT) at the B.C. competition. Bishop, the Canadian record holder over 800m, is the heavy favourite going into the two-lap event, which goes off at 11:40 p.m. EDT. She is the reigning world championship silver medallist from 2015.

Another Olympic medallist is in the field, Damian Warner, the 10-discipline specialist. Watch for him in the 110m hurdles as he focuses on the high hurdles (11:35 p.m. EDT) and the long jump on Wednesday. Akeem Haynes, who was part of the 4x100m relay squad which won bronze in Rio, goes up against De Grasse in the 100m.

Harry Jerome is sold out.

The Harry Jerome International Track Classic is Canada’s longest running track and field event and often acts as a springboard for athletes competing at big summer championships. In this case, the marquee event of the summer will be the IAAF World Championships in London.

The mid-week competition will, for many athletes, be the final tune-up before the Canadian Track and Field Championships in Ottawa. Nationals begins on July 3.
