2017 Rock ‘n’ Roll Montreal Marathon medals revealed

Rock ‘n’ Roll Montreal participants have a glimpse of what’s waiting for them at the finish line with the race’s latest reveal.

The popular road race circuit released photos of the race medals for the Sept. 23-24 event, which features a kids run, 5K, 10K, half-marathon and marathon, in Montreal. The race series is known for having an electric atmosphere, including live performances, as well as its race swag.

“We asked, you voted, and we’re thrilled to share the 2017 Rock ‘n’ Roll Oasis Montreal medal designs,” the company wrote on its website. “Inspired by the beautiful skyline and iconic Montreal landmarks, these medals will forever remind you of all the history, culture and beauty you’ll experience on your course.”

Plus, there’s a remix challenge medal for participants who complete the 5K on Saturday and another race, either the 10K, half or marathon, on Sunday. More descriptions of the medals can be found here. In case you missed it, the race also revealed the race T-shirts recently. Marathon finishers receive a jacket when they complete 42.2K too.

Montreal is the only Canadian stop on the Rock ‘n’ Roll circuit after it was announced earlier this year that the Vancouver event would no longer go on.
