How to watch the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships

The most encompassing global track and field event in 2018 is set for March 1-4.

The IAAF World Indoor Championships, held every two years, are being held in Birmingham, U.K. beginning Thursday. Canada’s team consists of 15 athletes including Olympic bronze medallist Damian Warner, world champion Shawn Barber and 10 athletes who have competed in an IAAF World Championships or Olympic final, according to Athletics Canada.

Genevieve Lalonde is the lone Canadian in action on Thursday on day one of four of the championships. The Canadian record holder in the 3,000m steeplechase will compete in the standalone 3,000m after dropping a PB of 8:49.78. The women’s 3K is a straight final.

Each of the following three days – Friday, Saturday and Sunday – have two sessions, one in the morning and the second in the evening.
