Best Sunday ever: Runners show off race moments at Saskatchewan marathon
Saskatoon was all about running on Sunday morning as the city hosted the Saskatchewan marathon, which produced some great social media moments.
While runners in Ottawa battled extreme heat during the 5K/10K/half-marathon/marathon on race weekend, runners in Saskatoon were treated with ideal conditions for road racing at the 38th annual Saskatchewan marathon.

As can be seen by the below social media posts, runners had a blast at Sunday’s event. The race offered distances from 5K to the marathon, all of which were run in the morning.
By the numbers
– 233 registered for the marathon
– 1,005 registered for the half-marathon
– 1,073 registered for the 10K
– 482 registered for the 5K
The men’s marathon winner came all the way from Ukraine
