Profile: A brand new event and the first of its kind in Canada. Nike brings its superior brand recognition and history of hosting world-class and exceptionally popular events to Toronto. The 15K women’s only event will take place on the Toronto Islands and is sure to showcase the Islands natural beauty while providing a stunning backdrop of the city skyline. A limited number of spaces will be available and lucky participants can expect excellent organization, generous amenities, unique Nike race swag and much more.

Profile: Connecting the lower and upper towns of old Quebec City lie some 30 cases of stairs and over 3,000 steps. Part of the Courir à Québec series, le Super Défi/Super Challenge covers each and every step, some 19K in total, and has participants ascend and descend them all. Le Défi Oasis/Oasis Challenge offers a shorter, condensed version totalling about 13K. In addition to overall winners, there are awards for the best climbers and sprinters. Both races start and finish in the Parc du Bois de Coulonge where a popular post-race warm meal is served and the awards ceremony takes place.

UclueletSunday June 14th: Edge to Edge Marathon, Ucluelet, B.C.

Profile: The Edge to Edge Marathon takes places at Canada’s westernmost point in Ucluelet on Vancouver Island. It is a tough course but one participants will be proud to finish. Half-marathon and a very popular four-person marathon relay are other race options. With sections on the Wild Pacific Trail and sensational scenic views of the coast, this is an unforgettable and highly unique running experience.
