Profile: A contender for Canada’s most scenic running event, the Whistler Half does not disappoint aesthetically, and also provides top-notch organization making it an excellent event overall. Providing spectacular views of the small mountain town and its nearby parks and outlooks, the at-times hilly course is not the fastest but makes up for it in every other way. Participants receive a quality The North Face product and finisher’s medal and enjoy popular pre- and post-race festivities.

Sole SistersSaturday June 6th: Sole Sisters Women’s Race, Dartmouth, N.S.

Profile: Sole Sisters aims to celebrate the strength of female runners and the friendships developed through running. This non-timed 5K event can be walked or run and guarantees participants will have fun in a positive and inclusive environment. Things get underway with a warm-up from Dartmouth Crossing amphitheatre and the race starts a short time later on Wilkinson Avenue. The event concludes with a popular after-party social.

Profile: This event has been steadily growing in popularity for very good reasons. Celebrating women and running, the race features a scenic course that twice runs right past the iconic Horseshoe Falls, has excellent race organization, generous amenities and a ton of great swag including a bottle of Chateau des Charmes V.Q.A. wine for all participants. This has become a must-do event for many women and is guaranteed to create a memorable experience.
