Runners and walkers kick off the holiday season with the annual Santa Shuffle

The 26th annual Santa Shuffle is a popular holiday-themed event presented by Running Room in support of The Salvation Army.

Taking place in 42 locations in all 10 provinces, the 26th annual Santa Shuffle Fun Run and Elf Walk is a popular holiday-themed event presented by Running Room in support of The Salvation Army. All in all, several thousand runners and walkers used the event as a fun way to kick off the holiday season as well as raise tens of thousands of dollars to assist individuals and families in need at this time of year.

Elsewhere, the sold-out Tannenbaum 10K in Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood was also deemed a success. The event saw over 1,200 finishers in both the classic 10K race and the Superkids 1K. The 10K was won by Toronto native Eric Bang in 32:13 and Courtney Laurie of Brantford in 37:44.
