Holiday-themed races to get your ho ho ho on

There's nothing like a holiday-themed race to get you in the spirit and keep your legs sharp as winter sets in

Now that fall marathon season is done, we have the opportunity to have a little fun while keeping our legs sharp going into winter. There’s no better way to do that than to pick a holiday-themed race or two. Better yet, get the kids involved. Most holiday races are family-friendly and feature things the kids love (like hot chocolate). Some race registration fees even include a Santa costume. But hurry–some races are next weekend.

Here’s a short selection to get you started. Note: The Salvation Army runs Santa Shuffle 5K races across Canada. To find one in your city, click here.
