How to follow the 2022 Canadian 10,000m championships

How and who to watch at the Canadian 10,000m championships this Saturday

Canadian track championships

The first Canadian outdoor championship is up for grabs this Saturday night in Burnaby, B.C. at the Lululemon Pacific Distance Carnival. Canada’s top men’s and women’s 10,000m runners will take to the track for 25 laps in the hope of being crowned national 10,000m champion. Vancouver’s Luc Bruchet and Leslie Sexton come into the event with the highest seed times, but they will have to hold off some of the nation’s top distance runners to win the title.

The start of the women’s Canadian 10,000m championship in 2017.

This year’s Pacific Distance Carnival is sponsored by lululemon and will bring both Olympic and Paralympic competitions as well as opportunities for the next generation of athletes to compete against current and future Olympians for the national 10,000m championships.

Action will kick off on May 14 at 8:00 p.m. P.T. with the women’s 10,000m championships followed by the men’s championship race at 8:45 p.m. P.T.
