This Sunday, October 21, 25,000 runners will fill the streets of Toronto at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, half-marathon and 5K. Defending champions Philemon Rono and Marta Megra will defend their titles against a long list of international elite runners, including 2012 Olympic marathon gold medallist Stephen Kiprotich and New Zealand national record-holder Jake Robertson. And some of the top names in Canadian distance running, including Reid Coolsaet, Cam Levins, Leslie Sexton, and Krista DuChene, will vie for the title of Athletics Canada National Marathon Champion. STWM is an IAAF Gold Label race.

The current weather forecast is for cool temperatures (a high of 8 C), a mix of sun and cloud, and a light breeze from the north west, which means a tailwind on the portion of the course that runs eastbound along the Lakeshore.

Canadian Running will be live-tweeting from the race. You can follow us on Twitter here. Same with Instagram and Facebook.

Live tracking of athletes is available at http://live.sporthive.com/event/2089/Live

The app version is here

The races will be broadcast live via STWM.ca, starting at 8:15 a.m. EDT (5:15 a.m. PT). Fans can also watch on Twitter, the Athletics Canada site, and CBC Sports
