Marathoner’s wardrobe malfunction caught on live TV

Late-race lactic was the least of a Slovakian marathon runner's worries at the end of a race as his shorts appear to fail him. Warning: Not safe for work

Slovakian Jozef Urban’s split shorts failed him for the final stretch of the KoÅ¡ice Peace Marathon on Oct. 1.

As he approached the finish line, Urban was seen on live television with certain private parts visible. He finished in 2:21:51, good for 10th overall.

The performance was Urban’s personal best, taking 27 seconds off his previous mark of 2:22:18, according to the Association of Road Racing Statisticians. The KoÅ¡ice Peace Marathon, held in eastern Slovakia, is the oldest 42K in Europe.
