Comedian Kevin Hart, 39, let the world know yesterday that he will run this year’s Chicago Marathon on October 7.

Hart ran the TCS New York City Marathon last November (his first), finishing in 4:05:06. (A few weeks before the race, Hart told Runner’s World that he hoped to finish in 3:40 to 3:45, despite his extremely busy schedule and lack of a training plan. However, he took comfort in having beaten New York Giants running back Tiki Barber by 33 minutes.)
In the Nike video embedded in Hart’s Instagram post, which has over 1 million views, he expresses dissatisfaction with his NYC time, saying, “You know what, that’s just not good enough for me.” Hart now proclaims his “crazy dream” to run five marathons. He doesn’t say in how much time. Five years? Fair enough.
In the video, suddenly a screen on a building lights up behind him, with a video of his two older children, Heaven and Hendrix, holding up signs saying, “We love you and your crazy dreams. You inspire us every day to chase our dreams. We want you to inspire more kids like us to move like you. Chicago is in two months.”
Hart is originally from Philadelphia.
