Kimmy Gibbler from Full House is an avid marathon runner

Andrea Barber, known for her role as Kimmy Gibler in the American sitcom 'Full House,' is an avid runner and completed the L.A. Marathon on Sunday.

Full House Marathon

The Skechers Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday had athletes run along Sunset and Hollywood Blvd., an iconic area of L.A. known for television and film studios. It’s only fitting that there was at least one celebrity finisher at the 42.2K race.

Andrea Barber, known as Kimmy Gibler in the American sitcom Full House, ran the race in under five hours and is a regular on the running scene. She also made it no secret that she was running the race on the weekend regularly posting on Instagram and Twitter.

Full House aired from 1987 to 1995 and starred the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, as well as John Stamos and Bob Saget.

Barber completed the race in 4:58:02, with some selfies along the way.

Earlier in her acting career, Barber, now 39, played Carrie Brady in the American soap opera Days of Our Lives between 1982 and 1986.

Barber took an extended break from acting following the end of Full House in 1995 before returning for a Funny or Die skit in 2014. She is starring in the upcoming series Fuller House– a sequel to the original sitcom.

The premiere for Fuller House is in 10 days time airing on Feb. 26. The trailer for the series, which will be available on Netflix, can be seen below.

In case you’re curious, Barber sports a Garmin Fenix 3, one of the most advanced GPS watches on the market, in rose-gold with a white band.
