Lalonde and Bruchet to lead Canadian team at 2019 NACAC and World XC champs

24 athletes will represent Canada in the U20 and Senior divisions at NACAC and Worlds in 2019

Athletics Canada has just announced the teams that will be going to the 2019 NACAC Cross-Country Championships on February 16 and the Cross-Country World Championships on March 30. Twenty-four athletes will represent Canada in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago (NACAC) and Aarhus, Denmark (Worlds) this winter, including ACXC national champions Genevieve Lalonde and Luc Bruchet.

The Canadian team who will race at both events. The U20 members of the team  were selected based on their performance at the 2018 ACXC nationals, and the senior men and women, either by their performance at nationals or by achieving an average Top 32 world ranking standard in the qualifying period.
