To get one of these spots, make sure you’re signed up for the Canadian Running newsletter before Jan. 13.

Why Around the Bay 30K is a must‑run event

Around the Bay

First held in 1894, Around the Bay is the oldest road race in North America, and has been recognized with a World Athletics Heritage Award. It’s even older than the Boston Marathon!

The 30K course winds through Hamilton and along the harbour, offering a mix of rolling hills and scenic waterfront views. This year’s race is scheduled for Sunday, April 12th which may offer better racing conditions than the timing in late-March previous years. The race sells out almost every year, and this might be your last chance to be a part of the fun.
