Sunday was a perfect day for the Burlington Chilly Half-Marathon. With sunny skies and relatively mild temperatures, the race went off smoothly.

 Falling six weeks before the Boston Marathon, the half is a magnet for some of southern Ontario’s big names as well as recreational athletes looking for a tuneup race. Toronto’s Sami Jibril and Hamilton’s Victoria Coates broke the tape in the half, while Phil Parrot-Migas of Mississauga and Tanis Bolton of Paris, Ont. were the winners of the 5K.
