Sunday might have been a chilly day in Toronto but that didn’t have an effect on the spirit of the crowd. Thousands gathered in the streets of Toronto to cheer on the 25,000 runners who ran the Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon.
It was an exciting race, Cam Levins smashed the Canadian marathon record, Kinsey Middleton ran a killer marathon debut to win the Canadian championships on the women’s side, and the women’s course record was also lowered by Mimi Belete.
