Quebec City Marathon 2019 results
Excellent race organization and beautiful courses make for a successful race weekend in the Quebec capital

It was a perfect fall weekend in Quebec City for the SSQ Quebec City Marathon and associated races on Saturday and Sunday. This is a beautiful set of courses, encompassing so much of the city’s historic sites, including the Plains of Abraham, Place Royale, and the Grande Allée.
The marathon and half-marathon courses, in particular, were vastly improved when changed last year to stay on the Quebec City side of the St. Lawrence. With the exception of one big hill around the 25K mark, the course is mostly flat or gently undulating, with plenty of visual variety to keep one’s mind occupied. Here are the top results from the weekend’s events.
